Adairville results favor incumbents

Unofficial results are in for Adairsville and preliminary numbers favor both incumbents.

Carla Fowler and Buddy Bagley should each retain thier City Council posts once votes are officially certified by the Bartow County Board of Elections.

Ms. Fowler, who is seeking re-election to Post 3, received about 57 percent of the votes while her opponent Connie Morrow received about 43 percent.

Bagley received about 60 percent of the vote to retain his seat on Post 4. His opponent, Jeremy Schwanbeck received 40 percent of the votes.
