‘Docs & Desserts’ at Somerby of Alpharetta

Somerby of Alpharetta is hosting evening “Docs & Desserts” sessions led by some of Atlanta’s premier medical professionals. Coffee and desserts will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. start for each of the informational seminars.

“Parkinson’s Disease: Approaches to Diagnosis & Care” seminar will be held May 7 and presented by Dr. Jorge Juncos, an associate professor of Neurology at Emory University and a Movement Disorder Physician for the Parkinson’s Association. He is also the Medical Director of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association’s Information and Referral Center at Emory.

The final session, “Early Detection & Treatment of Dementia” is scheduled for May 8 with Dr. Gary Figiel, a board-certified Geriatric Psychiatrist from Southeastern Geriatrics Healthcare.
