With last Monday being the registration deadline for those wishing to vote in the May 20 elections, the following voting dates have been set:
-Advance voting will begin Monday and continue through May 16 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Voter Registration Office on the first floor of the Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive in Douglasville.
The voter registration office will also be open May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for its only Saturday advance voting day.
-From May 12 through May 16, there will be advance voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at four locations in addition to the elections office.
They include Boundary Waters Aquatic Center, 5000 Ga. Hwy. 92 North/Hwy. 166 East; Deer Lick Park Gymnasium, 2105 Mack Road; Dog River Library, 6100 Ga. Hwy. 5; and the old Douglas County Courthouse, 6754 Church St.
-May 20 is Election Day, with party primaries and non-partisan elections on the ballot. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all precinct locations.
Any primary runoff elections, if necessary, would be held July 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all precinct locations.
-Absentee voting ballots are available and may be accessed through a link accessed by visiting www.celebratedouglascounty.com, clicking on Departments, then Elections and Voter Registration and Important Links.

Those already registered to vote need not register again unless the voter has had a name or address change
