Atlanta Artists Center to host 'Cool Palette’ exhibit

The Atlanta Artists Center, 2979 Grandview Ave. in Buckhead, will host “Cool Palette,” an exhibit of 70 works by center members, judged by well-known artist and instructor Chery Baird, today through Dec. 6. The event is open to the public.

Exhibit hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.

The center, celebrating 60 years in 2014, is a visual arts organization with more than 530 members in metro Atlanta. Members include nationally known and emerging artists. It is the largest all-volunteer, nonprofit of visual artists in the Southeast. The center supports the development and advancement of artists, is a resource for local and regional arts and is committed to bringing fine art to the North Georgia area and beyond.
