Atlanta Baroque Orchestra presents ‘Spring in Spain’ in Roswell

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra presents "Spring in Spain" at Roswell Presbyterian Church, 755 Mimosa Blvd, on May 5 at 4 p.m. Pre-concert talk is at 3:15 p.m.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a performance of traditional songs from Spain and Central and South America from the 1600s and 1700s, played on the instruments used over 300 years ago: Baroque violin; viola da gamba; and Baroque guitar, a very different instrument from the modern guitar.

Harpist Paula Fagerberg lives in Alpharetta. She is co- founder of the touring and recording ensemble Armonia Celeste, which was a finalist in the 2011 Early Music America/ Naxos recording competition.
