In the race for mayor are: J. Max Davis, Larry Danese, Sandy Murray and Thom Shepard.
Six candidates will go against each other to represent District 1 for the newly created city of Brookhaven. Those candidates are J.D. Clockadale, Alan Cole, Michelle Conlon, Kevin D. Fitzpatrick, Jr., Kevin Meaders and Rebecca Chase Williams.
For the District 2 council seat Jim Eyre, Larry Hurst and Russell Mitchell will each campaign for the spot.
District 3 saw the largest group of qualified candidates at nine vying for the seat. Those include Deborah Anthony, Hope Bawcom, Bates Mattison, Bridget O’Donnell, Ben Podgor, Kevin Quirk, Julia Russo, Gaye L. Stathis and Erik Steavens.
Joe Gebbia, Karen Lord, Frances R. Reedy and Kerry Witt are all candidates for the District 4 council seat in Brookhaven.
The special election will be held Nov. 6.
