Friday through Sunday, one local chef is riding a bicycle 300 miles for charity.

Jamie Adams, executive chef at the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group’s Veni Vidi Vici in Midtown, will participate in the inaugural Chefs on Bikes ride, which raises money for the No Kid Hungry campaign, which provides meals for children. Adams and three other chefs will ride from New York to Washington this weekend.

“I see an opportunity to raise awareness and money in a completely different way, and I am greatly energized by the opportunity to be a part of the first annual Chefs on Bikes ride,” he said.
