Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Rewind the Future video by its Strong4Life division went viral last week, and now has more than six million views. The video gives viewers a dose of reality when it comes to how poor eating habits and lifestyle choices can lead to obesity and even death.

According to Dr. Stephanie Walsh, Strong4Life’s medical director, the Rewind the Future campaign was launched in April 2012. She also said parents need time to consider why changes in eating habits and lifestyle are needed.

The Children’s Strong4Life movement includes doctors, exercise physiologists and wellness experts working across Georgia. To date they have reached nearly 740,000 children, trained 2,552 healthcare providers, launched programs in 601 Georgia schools, have seen an 80 percent decrease or stabilization of body mass index in campers who attended Camp Strong4Life and have 1 million visits to Strong4Life.com.
