Concert, street fair to benefit women's shelter

A daylong street fair and a concert titled “An Evening with Elvis and Friends” will benefit Shepherd’s Rest Ministries Saturday, June 14, in downtown Dallas.

The concert at 7 p.m. at Dallas Theatre features Jeffrey Cole as Elvis, with appearances by The Steadfast Quartet and Peyton Waddell.

The street fair to benefit Shepherd's Rest is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. and will include vendors, a children’s corner, barbecue, frozen treats, raffle items and more along Main Street in downtown Dallas. It also will feature music and entertainment by John Manos & the Midnight Boys, local dance groups and others.

Hardy Family Automotive Group and Highgrove Partners are among the fair sponsors.

Shepherd's Rest provides a variety of services for physically abused women and children in Paulding County, including a shelter and crisis center.
