Soccer camp

Alexander soccer team will host its inaugural summer soccer camp June 9 to 12 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Alexander High School.

The camp will feature a basic technique and agility circuit where players can learn, improve, or just sharpen new or existing skills.

All coaches have national licenses from the U.S. Soccer Federation.

The camp is for children in grades first to eighth grades.

Cost is $75.

Campers will receive a camp T-shirt.

Chapel Hill Softball Camp

Chapel Hill High School will host its softball camp June 9 to 12.

Registration is open to girls ages six and older.

Each session will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Cost is $100 per camper

Registration is open to players in the first through eighth grade.

Each session will run from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Cost is $75 per camper. Participants of past camp on February 8 will receive a $10 discount.

Each camper will receive a free T-shirt

Sports camps

Registration now open for summer sports camps at Deer Lick Park, including:

-Cheerleading camp, June 2 to 6, 9 a.m. to noon; $55 per child, ages 6 to 18;

-Basketball camp, June 9 to 13, 9 a.m. to noon; $70 per child, ages 5 to 16;

-Skateboard camp, June 16 to 20, 9 a.m. to noon; $50 per child, ages 6 to 14;

-Sand volleyball camp, Friday nights in June and July, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., $20 per session;

Mario West camp

Douglas County High School will host the Mario West Basketball Camp June 2 to 5. West is a Douglas County alumnus who played collegiately at Georgia Tech and professionally for the Atlanta Hawks and New Jersey Nets. Registration is open to boys and girls from the ages of 7 to 17.

Each session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $125 per camper and lunch is included.

NMHS Basketball

New Manchester High School will hold a basketball camp June 2 to 5. Registration is open to boys and girls in grades one through eight. Each session will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $100 per camper and includes a free T-shirt.
