The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will combine this event with its Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt for a night of excitement
The combined Easter egg hunts are now scheduled Friday at Boundary Waters Park, 5000 Highway. 92/166 in Douglasville. The Eggstravaganza Easter egg hunt will start at 6:30 p.m. and the Flashlight Egg Hunt will start at 8 p.m. or dark.
With hunts starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. for the Eggstravanganza, the start times will be staggered between age groups.
The Eggstravaganza egg hunt age divisions are, 2 to 4 on field 1, ages 5 and 6 on field 2, ages 7 and 8 on field 3, ages 9 and 10 on field 4 and ages 11 and 12 on field 5.
This hunt will be located at the Boundary Waters Athletic Complex.
The Flashlight Egg Hunt has also been moved to the Boundary Waters Athletic Complex. This will allow recreation department officials to have the hunts at the same location and on the same night.
The Flashlight Easter egg hunt age divisions are 7 to 8 on field 1, 9 and 10 on field 2, 11 and 12 on field 3 and ages 13 through 16 on field 4.
Those taking part must pre-register for this event by today, April 10. No registration will be taken the evening of the event.
All participants must check in at the DJ table. The children must have their wrist bands to participate. The cost for the Flashlight Egg Hunt is $5.
All other activities are available for everyone, including inflatable’s, face painting, a photo booth for pictures with the Easter Bunny plus concessions and refreshments for a small fee.
