This marks the 46th year Stone Mountain Park celebrates the red, white and blue. The Fantastic Fourth Celebration contains a laser show and ends the night with fireworks. The night is free for the whole family.
“Hands down Stone Mountain Park has the best fireworks in Atlanta,” Stone Mountain Public Relations Manager Jeanine Jones said. “The park is shooting fireworks three nights in a row. So if you can’t come July 4th, don’t worry, we have fireworks on July 5th and 6th.”

Fantastic Fourth Celebration
Stone Mountain Park will host their Fourth of July Celebration at the Memorial/Laser Lawn Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. A laser show with fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is $10 for a day pass and $35 for an annual permit.

Dunwoody 4th of July Parade
The Dunwoody Homeowners Association will host the annual Fourth of July Parade from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The parade starting at All Saints Catholic Church will feature different floats, bands and the Wells Fargo Stage Coach. It will end in the Dunwoody Village plaza.

Pied Piper Parade, Concert and Fireworks
The city of Decatur invites everyone to decorate their bicycles and skateboards to walk or ride in the Pied Piper Parade Thursday starting at 6 p.m. The parade will wind through the streets of downtown Decatur. The night will end with a concert at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.

All Day Celebration
The city of Avondale Estates continues to host its time-honored tradition Fourth of July Celebration. Activities start Thursday morning with a 10 a.m. parade, and end with fireworks at dusk by the lake.

This year marks Lenox Square’s 54th annual Fourth of July, to take place from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at 3393 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. As always, there will be children’s games, musical entertainment, food and the biggest fireworks display in the Southeast.
