In developing her game over the years, the Stone Mountain senior has become an excellent hardwood multi-tasker.
“She can handle the ball, shoot it, penetrate … she can do it all,” said Lady Pirates coach Stanley Clark. “She can go in the post and guard bigger players, rebound … and, on top of that, she’s got a high basketball I.Q.”
As a junior, Clark led DeKalb in both assists (5.9 per game) and steals (5.8).
That stat line is made even more impressive considering that Clark, a 5 foot 8 guard, also averaged over 15 points per contest. She’s been putting up similar numbers in her senior campaign — a testament to her consistency and work ethic — as she has over the course of her career.
Clark, a Mississippi Valley State commit, is a member of the exclusive 1,000-points scored club. She has also contributed more than 300 assists and 300-plus steals during her time
at Stone Mountain — good for career averages of 4.4 assists and 4.7 steals per game and counting.
Look for that type of production to be on full display during her remaining games on this stage and at the next level.
