Stephenson's Kyana Johnson
Stephenson’s Kyana Johnson has been solid all season.

Johnson puts up 10 points and nearly four assists per contest for the Lady Jaguars.

The senior’s dedication to team play is apparent and has translated into another successful season.

Johnson, taking the blue collar approach, has helped put Stephenson within a game of the Class AAAAA state semifinals.

Just as she has all season, Johnson will continue to be called upon to score and set up scoring opportunities for teammates.

Pulling that off night in and night out not only requires skill and court vision — a high basketball I.Q. that most, if not all, playmakers possess is yet another must have.

Johnson’s game is predicated on substance over flash, although she is quite capable of dazzling a crowd.

By the time her prep career is over, her contribution to the most important stat of all — wins against losses — will speak loudest.
