The senior forward/center leads the team with nine rebounds per game and is among the Lady Cougars’ leading scorers and top defensive players as well.
Browning scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had six steals in Holy Spirit’s 55-50 victory over Piedmont at the Monsignor Donovan Catholic tournament in Athens Dec. 22.
She dominated the boards in the Lady Cougars’ game against Crown Dec. 7, grabbing 16 rebounds in the 68-62 loss.
“She knows that she’s not our go-to scorer, but she does get a lot of rebounds for us,” Holy Spirit Prep coach Jada Jordan said. “She can score, but she can also rebound and play defense. She does everything for us.”
Jordan also praises Browning for the leadership she provides on the court.
“She is our team captain,” the coach said. “In fact, she’s been our captain for the last two years. She has always been a leader for us.”
