With three state swimming championships already under her belt, Katie Grover is aiming to earn more as she enters her final high school season.

The Milton senior has earned state meet qualifying times in a couple of events so far – the 100-yard butterfly (59.43 seconds) and the 100 freestyle (57.78).

She also realized her dream of swimming on the college level when she signed a letter-of-intent with UCLA in November.

Grover is coming off a 2012-13 season is which she won Class AAAAAA state titles in both the 100 backstroke (55.21) and the 100 butterfly (53.55) after winning a AAAAAA championship in the 100 freestyle (51.14) as a sophomore in ’12.

Grover, collegeswimming.com’s 20th rated recruit in the nation, has made her mark on the Milton swimming record book with school record times in the 50 freestyle (24.14, which she set in 2011), the 100 free (51.14 at the ’12 state meet) and 100 backstroke (56.99 in ’12).

She is also a member of the Swim Atlanta swim club.
