Fulton County Assistant District Attorney April Ross McConnell was discharged July 29 from Sheperd Center in Buckhead after a 12-week hospitalization and rehab stay following the gunshot injuries she sustained April 25 at the hands of her husband Trenard, who was later found dead in College Park. "April will continue her recovery at home with her parents, and in several weeks, will resume rehabilitation activities at Sheperd's day program," her father Kevin Ross said in a statement.
