The event will feature domestic, import and microbrew beers to sample, as well as food and a variety of live music.
“Heritage Sandy Springs is excited to present this popular event again this year,” said Rebekah Henry Murphy, Heritage’s special events director. “We have drawn a diverse crowd of beer lovers from [the] Sandy Springs and north Fulton communities during the first two festivals. As ours is one of the more intimate festivals, with short lines and great opportunities to chat with the brewers, the Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest has quickly become a crowd favorite.”
Beer Fest tickets are now on sale at www.ticketalternative.com. Admission is $30 per person in advance or $40 at the door, and includes entry into the event for unlimited safe tastes, a souvenir pint glass and a $5 food voucher coupon to use for any food vendor. Attendees can purchase non-alcoholic beverages and specialty food from food trucks and local restaurants on site.
Attendees must be 21 or older to attend. Advanced prices are available until Friday at noon. Pets and smoking are not permitted on the premises, and no coolers or picnics are allowed. Parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated lots.
The Beer Fest will raise funds for Heritage, a nonprofit that operates Heritage Green, the 4-acre city park located in the heart of Sandy Springs. It houses the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum, located within an 1869 plain style farmhouse and containing two changing exhibit galleries and one permanent exhibit, which document the history of the Sandy Springs community.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit Heritage’s community-focused programs, including educational and history programs, cultural enrichment activities and special events such as the Sandy Springs Festival and Concerts by the Springs.
