Johns Creek police closed Sapphire Spa on Medlock Bridge Road on Tuesday and arrested four workers on charges of not having massage permits.

Police had been investigating the spa, at 10360 Medlock Bridge Road, Suite H, which had been advertising escort and adult sensual massage services online, said Lt. Chris Byers.

“Investigators have been looking into this place for the last several weeks, ever since it opened,” Byers said. “It opened with no permits, no business license or anything, so it should not have been open.”

Police were called to the spa Tuesday by a client who claimed to have been cheated by a woman he said he paid for sexual services. During the dispute with the woman, the general manager attempted to use a stun gun on him.

The client — Alhaussane Toure, 32, of Decatur — was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, Byers said. The woman he allegedly paid for sexual services — Karla Elizabeth Lauzon, 20, of Kennesaw — was arrested on a charge of not having a massage permit.

Three other spa employees — Melissa Ann Gordon, 24, of Kennesaw; Contessa Grant, 24, of Alpharetta; and Karissa May Shadi, 21, of Stockbridge — were also arrested for not having massage permits.

Police are still looking into whether illegal sexual services were being performed at the spa. Officers executed a search warrant seeking evidence of prostitution.

“We seized computers, video cameras that were in the rooms [and] all types of other evidence,” Byers said. “It is still an ongoing investigation as far as linking in the sexual side of what they were up to at the place.”

Since the massage parlor owner was operating without proper permits or licenses, the city had the legal authority to close down the spa.

“Places like this have no place in Johns Creek,” Police Chief Ed Densmore said in a news release. “We are continuing our investigation and more charges may be forthcoming.”

Throughout the past several years, more than a dozen charges have been made at different massage parlors in the city for related violations, Byers said.

“Anytime something like this pops up in the city, our investigators are well aware and looking for any illegal activity that goes on,” he said. “It’s definitely on our radar.”

The landlord (renter) of this building is none other than Big Poppa aka Lee Najar of Real Housewives.

And the previous renter was a "massage parlor" too, that abruptly shut down and moved.

At least it only took a couple of weeks for JC to shut this one down- it was pretty obvious.
