Neighbor Newspapers has named North Fulton resident Lynn Danson as Advertising Director of its 22 weekly publications. Danson will be responsible for managing sales and advertising campaigns and will lead an established team of sales managers and account executives.

Danson previously served as sales manager at Appen Media Group, sales director at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and brings with her 27 years of experience in the newspaper industry. She serves as chair of the education committee for the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of Alpharetta Presbyterian Church where she serves as an elder. Danson lives in Johns Creek with her husband Daniel and their two children, Elizabeth and Katelyn.

"I am looking forward to working with our dynamic sales team and am glad to be a part of the Neighbor's long-standing mission of delivering quality news and advertising to our hundreds of thousands of customers who depend on us weekly," Danson said.

According to Neighbor Newspapers Vice President of Advertising Wade Stephens, Danson is a natural fit for this position.

"Lynn has a proven track record in this industry and I'm convinced that under her leadership we will build a vibrant and thriving sales team," he said.
