Through their current four-game winning streak, the Milton offense has literally run over every team in their way — averaging 348 rushing yards per game and 47.5 points.

Right tackle Josh Harris has been a big reason for that success, teaming with a host of other big, strong lineman to give the Eagles one of the best front lines in the state.

“Josh is our leader on the offensive line, there is no doubt about that,” said Milton head coach Howie DeCristofaro of his 6-foot-5 285 pound lineman that is committed to playing at Wake Forest next season.

“He’s a big and strong kid, he has been our highest graded lineman every week and we know we can run behind him in every game.”

In last Thursday’s 59-24 win over Etowah, Harris had four pancakes blocks and graded out at 92 percent for the game according to DeCristofaro. His play helped pave the way for running backs Peyton Barber and Treyvon Paulk to go well over 100 yards for the game, led the Eagles to eight rushing touchdowns and a fourth straight game with over 300 yards rushing.

“The last four weeks have been great up front. Those kids have all come together as a group and are showing great cohesion,” said the second year Milton coach.
