By all appearances, the junior combo guard has all the requisite tools to leave a lasting mark on the Tigers’ varsity hoops program.
Hatter, who stands 5 foot 11, was averaging over 18 points per game at his peak this season. His ability to alternate between manning the point and playing shooting guard — being productive at both those positions all the while — makes him an increasingly valuable commodity in the Stockbridge rotation.
The Tigers’ struggles this season should be a great education for Hatter and the rest of team’s rising senior class. Look for them to generate their fair share of buzz heading into the 2013-14 season.
As for Hatter, his tremendous upside is worth noting. Expect his all-around game to continue to develop — his stellar individual play possibly translating into more team success.
If all goes well, this time next year the Tigers just might find themselves preparing to embark on a long postseason run of their own.
