Only starting his senior year, due to ineligibility his junior year, Bailey was able to get his grades up and land a scholarship.
Bailey, defensive lineman, signed to Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C.
"The atmosphere and the program were great and they had my major - graphic design," said Bailey.
Bailey and first year head coach Scott Jones, said Bailey had eight to 10 schools looking at him during his senior year.
Bailey said he also strongly considered Birmingham Southern College and Lagrange College.
"I think he made a good decision," said Jones, "I've known the coaches out there for years and they really take care of their players and have lots of personal interest in them."
"He'll do fine," Jones said.
