The city of Milton Public Works Department and Georgia Department of Transportation are planning the widening of Ga. 9 from Windward Parkway to the Forsyth County line — including Bethany Bend intersection improvements — and have planned an open house to gather feedback on the proposed concepts.

This public information open house will be held May 21 at the Council Chambers of Milton City Hall. The open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be no formal presentation.

“The meeting will allow the public to view the proposed project, ask questions and comment on the proposals,” said Sara Leaders, transportation engineer for the city of Milton. “We hope [citizens] will take advantage of this opportunity to let us know your view of the concepts.”

For more information on this, or any transportation project in the city of Milton, contact Leaders at (678) 242-2559, or visit Milton’s intersection improvements website.
