Parking cleared at Smokerise precinct

The DeKalb County Board of Registration & Elections is asking voters who may have been deterred from voting in the Smokerise Precinct due to a lack of parking to return to the poll.

The Smokerise precinct, at Mt. Carmel Christian Church at 6015 Old Stone Mountain Road in Stone Mountain, experienced some parking inconveniences earlier in the day due to another unrelated event.

The parking issues have been corrected and the poll will remain open until 7 p.m.
