Five years ago, LifeLine Animal Project took in two very special dogs — Lily, a black Belgian shepherd, and Daisy, a chocolate Labrador mix. Their former doggie dad adopted them from a shelter and provided them with a home for two years. But when he became ill with terminal cancer and was going into hospice, he turned the dogs in to LifeLine in the hopes his girls would be adopted into homes.

Five years later, the girls are seniors and are still waiting for their forever home. They are living in a foster home with a number of other dogs. However, they deserve to spend their golden years in a home where they will get the love and attention they deserve.

Lily and Daisy are gentle girls with sunny dispositions who are housetrained, affectionate, playful with each other and low maintenance. They need someone willing to adopt them together and give them love. In return, they will be serene companions who provide plenty of unconditional love. The girls have both been fixed, have had all of their vaccinations and are microchipped.

Could you be the family they have been waiting for? Why not meet them and find out?
