Two streets in Roswell are slated for resurfacing projects.

Work on Mountain Park Road from Ga. Hwy. 92 to Old Mountain Park Road began Tuesday and is expected to take one week, weather permitting.

Once the Mountain Park Road resurfacing project is completed, crews will begin resurfacing Grimes Bridge Road from the roundabout to Dogwood Road. This work is also slated to take approximately one week to complete. The work will be done at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Traffic delays can be expected during these hours.

Both projects are being paid for with Local Maintenance Improvement Grants from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The Mountain Park project is budgeted at around $263,500 and the Grimes Bridge project at $296,000. Northwest Georgia Paving will be doing the work.
