In a news release, Peachtree City-based Wellspring Living announced it will host its first Run for One 5K Saturday at Grant Park in Atlanta. Wellspring Living intends to raise funds for its comprehensive treatment programs to restore women and girls who have sexually abused, exploited or trafficked. More than 100 girls are exploited every night.

The Run for One 5K will raise both funds for and awareness of the issue of sex trafficking and the exploitation of children and women. Wellspring is a nonprofit that confronts the issue of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation through awareness, training and treatment programs for women and girls. It serves females ages 12 to 40 with the largest residential program for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation of children in the U.S. providing individual and group therapy, education, life skills classes, family reunification and community reintegration.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8:30 a.m. Participants can register online.

Those who cannot participate in the race can support it through the Phantom Run. Fundraising and sponsorship op-portunities also are available.
