The show airs Thursday at 7 p.m. on WUPA (CW 69).
The Anderson family includes Ashley, an administrative assistant; father David, a real estate agent; cousin Najur, a paralegal; cousin Stasha, an entrepreneur; and cousin Niara, a member of the National Guard.
“It has always been a dream to compete on ‘Family Feud’, and we decided to audition so we could check it off our collective ‘bucket list,’” Ashley Anderson said. “If we win we want to use the money to start a family business that sells fitness apparel.”
To secure their spot on the show, the Anderson family called the “Family Feud” hotline to begin the process. Other contestant hopefuls can also call the show’s hotline at (323) 762-8467. The show is hosted by comedian/actor Steve Harvey, and since he took the reins, viewership has increased nearly 50 percent overall.
