School officials to host safety preparedness forum

The New Manchester High School PTA will host a School Safety Preparedness Forum Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in the high school theater.

Douglas County School System parents, students, staff and community stakeholders are invited to attend the meeting and learn more about the district’s safety preparedness.

Scheduled speakers include School Superintendent Gordon Pritz, New Manchester High School Principal Connie Craft, School System Safety Director Zack Spencer, Student Support Coordinator George Chip and Sgt. Jesse Hambrick of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
