Toy & Comic Show coming to Douglasville

The North West Georgia Collectors Club, founded by Gary Rutledge, is having a Toy & Comic Show, on Saturday, July 27th, 2013, at Sutton Hall, 5971 Sutton Dr, Douglasville, GA 30135 (corner of Bill Arp and Sutton Dr). The event will run from 11am-4pm. Admission is only $3, and kids 5 & under are free! Come see the General Lee out front, and get entered into the drawings for door prizes as well!

You will meet local artists, comic book writers/illustrators, and authors! J.R. Mounts and Chris Collins will be here! J.R. is the creator of the comic strip “Scairy Tales Noir” and the graphic novel series “Fried Pickle Noir”, and Chris writes & draws for those works. Author Lynn Hubbard, of Hiram, will be showcasing her romance/western books, and you can also find her on Amazon! Author Timothy Price will be here as well, showing off his illustrated novel, “Big In Japan”! Meet comic book artist Lysa Shin, whose current works include “Zen vs. Zombies” and a photography book entitled “The Art of Martial”.

There will be many vendors on hand, who will be selling toys & action figures of any craft or kind, such as Star Wars, Star Trek, DC Comics, Marvel, Mego, GI Joe, and the list continues! Warhammer display scenes for gaming, a huge variety of comic books, sports memorabilia, zombie merchandise, and much more!

Light concessions will be for sale, such as popcorn, chips, candy, and soda/water.
