(UPDATED AT 9 A.M. FRIDAY WITH NEWS OF GIRL BEING FOUND)

In an email to the media, the Atlanta public relations firm of Leff and Associates Thursday announced Beverly Knepper, 14, who went missing Monday at Piedmont Park in Midtown, was found Thursday night.

"Beverly knepper has been found safe. I don't know more details than that right now," Leff and Associates President Mitch Leff said in the email.

Friends and family were making every effort to find her and planned a prayer vigil, with her family in attendance, for Thursday at 7 p.m. at the park.

In a message posted on the "Find Beverly" Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/findbeverly), Tim Taylor said, "Today was one of the most blessed days I have had in a long time. Being a fugitive recovery agent, we are always going after the less than desirable people. But today seeing Beverly walk by us and being able to detain her and the boy she was with, knowing she was now safe had to have been the best feeling in the world. Could not have done it without my partner Jim Bohan. All in all what a miracle. Hope that everything works out for her in the future."
