Crush: A Valentine to the ’90s, the fourth annual Broadway cabaret to benefit Open Hand and set for Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodruff Arts Center's Rich Theatre in Midtown, has been cancelled, its organizer said Thursday afternoon in an email.
"Due to severe weather, the producers cancelled several shows this week and must use the night of Feb. 3 for a make-up performance at the Fox Theatre," Open Hand Director of Development Jeff Carrico said. "We regret this turn of events because the cast had one heck of a show planned!" was to present the Broadway benefit cabaret, featuring cast members from “The Book of Mormon,” Monday.

The event was to benefit Open Hand, a Buckhead-based nonprofit dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors and those with chronic illnesses. Tickets were $50 per person and $100 for VIP admission. The event was to start with a public silent auction and VIP reception at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. The silent auction will include memorabilia used in previous “The Book of Mormon” productions.

No songs from “The Book of Mormon” will be performed, but the show will feature about 20 songs with about 20 singers and dancers from the production. A live auction will include a chance to join “The Book of Mormon” cast backstage at the Fox Theatre, where it is performing today through Feb. 9.
