Verizon Wireless is looking to hire more than 430 full-time employees in Georgia this year. More than two hundred of the available positions are for customer service-related opportunities at call centers located in north Fulton County. Verizon also is filling positions in retail, network and IT. Most of the jobs are based in Alpharetta and Milton.

“The wireless industry has been one of the fastest growing markets across the globe. We are going to see our business expand as consumers continue to rely heavily on their tablets, smartphones and other wireless offerings,” said Jonathan LeCompte, president of the Georgia/Alabama region for Verizon Wireless.
