Kicker/punter Alex Robinson inked his scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania. Linebackers Austin Roark and Jameel Spencer signed with Stetson and Georgia State, respectively.
"We're excited and we're proud to have Austin, Alex and Jameel sign," Woodward football coach John Hunt said. "It's obviously a testament to their hard work and commitment to the program here.
There were also six other signings by Woodward athletes in Paget Gym. Chad Pyke agreed to wrestle at NC State next year. Jonathan Pryor will play baseball at Wake Forest. Max Poore will compete for the Mercer soccer team.
Blake Johnson will join the Syracuse girls' soccer team. Drew Jackson officially agreed to play for the USC girls' lacrosse team and Sydney Cooper signed her Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Louisville.
Over at Landmark, safety Cole Higbie (Wofford) and defensive lineman Reed McGuire (Air Force) from the War Eagles' Final Four team signed scholarships.
Lindy Long will also attend Air Force but will run for the girls' cross country team.
"They are all great kids and worked extremely hard," Landmark football coach Wayne Brantley said. "I'm real proud of them. Cole will go to Wofford and do an outstanding job. In my opinion, he is one of if not the best defensive backs that has ever played here at Landmark.
"I think he will play pretty quickly and be a major contributor," Brantley said. "Reed is a very tough kid and a very smart kid. Very coachable. I think he can get on the field very early for Air Force as well. He's done a tremendous job for us."
