A total of 37 seniors were named top students at 11 public high schools and four private schools in middle and north DeKalb this year.
The schools’ valedictorians and salutatorians led thousands of students to graduation at a variety of venues — from an on-campus facility where Marist School’s 188 graduates were honored, to the Georgia Dome where Redan and Stone Mountain high schools conducted their ceremonies.
More than 5,800 seniors were scheduled to graduate from DeKalb County School System high schools this year.
