East Point Public Works in conjunction with the city’s Capital Improvements Program has developed an updated model and floodplain mapping presentation prepared for city residents in regard to the city’s four main watersheds.
There are two remaining public meeting for East Point neighborhoods impacted by the updated model and floodplain mapping, including a joint meeting for residents of all four of the city’s wards this weekend.
The final individual ward meeting will be for residents of Ward D, and will be held Jan. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3366 Mt. Olive Road.
The final meeting is a joint session for East Point Ward’s A, B, C and D and is scheduled Jan 28 from 9 a.m. until noon at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, 1150 Jefferson Ave.
