Fedale Hall - MT. PISGAH
Through the first half of the 2009 football season, Mt. Pisgah senior Fedale Hall was searching for his big breakout while battling nagging injuries. If the last few weeks are any indication, Hall is feeling just fine now.
In three straight Pisgah wins Hall has been a one-man wrecking crew, rushing for 695 yards and scoring nine touchdowns. Now healthy and playing behind a determined offensive line, Hall resembles the electrifying player that produced 1,867 yards total offense and 29 scores as a junior in 2008.
“He is finally 100 percent, and it shows on the field,” Pisgah head coach Doug Dixon said of Hall. “He plays both ways, which could take a lot out of a player, but he has been responding with stellar efforts.”
Hall, a shifty 5-foot-7-inch back with deceptive power and blazing speed, has already received one college scholarship offer from 2008 FCS national champion Richmond. With a tremendous work ethic and a positive outlook, Hall figures to have a great future ahead of him.
“He also performs well in the classroom and at home,” said Dixon. “He is just a great person who happens to be a great athlete.”
