Georgia playwrights Daniel Guyton, Evan Guilford-Blake, Michael Tarver and John Patrick Bray will be the featured playwrights in the newly established GOOD Works Theatre Festival, set for July 26 through 29 at the 14th Street Playhouse in Midtown.

The festival is an international, four-day event celebrating new and emerging playwrights, presenting original works.

It’s is more than a theatre festival. It is representative of a grandiose, international community of artists who have collaborated as playwrights, actors, directors, stage managers and designers. Selected works will be presented to an audience in a festival setting where the heart of the matter is the celebration of the craft and artistry of playwrights. GOOD Acting Studio has facilitated a strong line-up of national, local, and regional talent to be your storytellers for a four-night engagement, turning a bright spotlight on Atlanta.

While The GOOD Works Theatre Festival welcomes all patrons, the plays are intended for mature audiences. Adult content and some adult language will be present in performances.

Tickets are $21 for single-night passes and $36 for two-night passes. Tickets are for general seating; first come, first served. All purchases should be made through the 14th Street Playhouse box office, located at 173 14th St.
