Polls across Bartow County opened this morning.

With overcast skies and a steady rain ballots will be cast in key primary races.

Voters will choose among five Republican candidates for county commissioner, three Republicans for Senate Seat 52, Republican candidates for tax commissioner and candidates for the Bartow County School Board to name a few key races.

Voters will also cast ballots on the much talked about Transportation Special Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST).

Polls will remain open until 7 p.m. and voters are reminded to bring appropriate voter identifcation to cast their ballots.
