While under the whistle of head coach Jim Kremer for the past three years, the Adairsville football team have not had a losing season. Breaking even the first two years with 5-5 overall records, Kremer was able to lead the team to a 10-2 record and the second round of the state playoffs in 2011.

This season, with the regions changed, Adairsville moved up to Class AAA and will have to face off against the Purple Hurricanes of Cartersville in a region game at the end of October.

Having 23 seniors last season, the level of experience on the team dropped significantly upon graduation, which could pose a serious problem for the Tigers. Kremer said he is not worried as there are still many talented athletes on his roster and as long as the team continues to work hard, they will end the season on a good note once again.
