This meeting serves to launch the club's new campaign to stop human trafficking.
The goal is to develop an educational and awareness program that can be implemented thoughout the Rotary district and eventually Rotary International.
Invited to speak on the discussion panel are representatives from Wellspring Living and Street GRACE, Judge Bill Riley and a victim of human trafficking, who has a compelling story of being trafficked and how Wellspring helped her restore her life.
Rotary has also invited some area pastors, principals and law enforcement to be a part of the audience as well.
Attendees will learn how prevalent this issue is in the metro Atlanta communities and what can be done to help stop it now.
The event will be free and open to the public.
“We feel Rotary is the missing link and are very excited for Rotary to get involved in this and feel we could really help make a difference to stop human trafficking," stated Roswell Rotary President, Dave McCleary.
