The 5-foot-9 senior setter leads the county in kills per match (7.2) and digs per match (8.3) and has played a key role in leading Lakeside to the area 6AAAAA regular-season title.
Miller was instrumental in Lakeside’s run to the Class AAAA state quarterfinals as a junior in 2011, ranking second in the county in digs per match (8.8) and third in kills per match (6.5) that season. She was also among the county’s leaders in kills as a sophomore in ’10.
Miller has played a big role in a number of Lakeside’s victories this season, including the Lady Vikings’ wins over 6AAAAA foes Tucker, Mays and Dunwoody on Sept. 18.
Miller and her Lakeside teammates will close out the regular season on Thursday against state powerhouses St. Pius X and Whitewater before beginning play in the area 6AAAAA tournament next week.
