McKenna Farms is hosting its annual Fall Festival Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The entry fee is $5, but children 2 and under will be admitted for free.
“We are going to start raising money for a pool,” said Belena Baldus, office administrator for McKenna Farms.
The festival will include pony and hay rides, face painting, a silent auction, games, a cake walk and food.
“It’s a lot of fun, and the activities are very creative,” said Baldus. “We’re hoping everyone will come enjoy the food, atmosphere and the horses.”
McKenna Farms is a nonprofit organization which provides therapy services to special needs individuals.
Another major fall event in the county is the Paulding Fine Arts Association’s Fall Fest.
This year, it is scheduled for Oct. 13 in downtown Dallas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The group’s treasurer, Faye McLain, said this year the festival will be larger than ever, as its already has 33 exhibitors signed up to participate.
McLain said exhibitor goods range from Christmas decorations to nail painting services.
“Just about anything you can imagine is going to be out there,” McLain said.
Money raised from vendor fees goes to the association’s three annual art competitions.
