NBA Fit in the league’s comprehensive health and wellness program that encourages physical activity and healthy living for children and families through grassroots programs such as the one that took place at Brookview Elementary.
The Brookview Elementary Homework Center operates from 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The center serves 45 second- through fifth-graders.
SCANA Energy Homework Centers provide a safe and structured study environment where students can complete their class assignments and learn proper study skills. Each homework center operates with two certified teachers who are responsible for the total management of the program. SCANA Energy provides funds for the teachers, an assistant, snacks and student incentives. Additional Georgia Homework Centers include schools in Macon, Marietta, Norcross, Rome and Tucker.
