The blue chip recruit does it all for the Lady Bulldogs while averaging 20.2 points and nine rebounds per game.
Count Decatur coach Bill Roberts as being among the chorus of basketball purists and enthusiasts singing the six foot senior’s praises.
“Jordan can play any position,” Roberts said. “Right now I got her playing on the wing, but she can play inside-out.”
For all her athletic gifts, Dillard, who has committed to play college ball at Villanova, is recognized just as much within Lady Bulldogs circle for the intangibles she brings to the table.
“She’s our senior leader, our senior captain … she’s an extension of me on the floor,” said Roberts. “She’s one of those players that comes along once in a blue moon that you just cherish.”
Dillard is also playing an integral role in galvanizing and developing Decatur’s collective of young talent. Under her direction — and her highly productive game — the Lady Bulldogs are poised to reach greater heights during the 2012-13 season.
