Cobb EMC honors Paulding residents for vanpool participation

Cobb EMC recently honored seven employees who were named Clean Air Campaign "Commuter Champions" for eliminating a total of 150,000 pounds of air pollution. Each participates in the co-op’s vanpool program and has eliminated 25,000 pounds of pollution. Cobb EMC’s recent Commuter Champions include Peggy Bennett of Taylorsville; Jason Camp of Hiram; Shane Carter of Rockmart; Kathy Cook of Cartersville; Barry Goughler of Dallas; Jami Holcomb of Dallas and Greg Pollard of Cedartown.
Cobb EMC, a longtime partner of the Clean Air Campaign, encourages employees to clean commute through carpools, vanpools or compressed workweeks. More than 260 employees currently participate.
