The Raiders hoops standout put up solid numbers across the board en route to pacing his club to a respectable season.
The junior’s level of production night in and night out was nothing short of stellar.
Haynes averaged around 18 points per game on 71 percent shooting — while shooting around 42 percent from beyond the arc. He also pulled down 10 rebounds to help his cause.
Not many players at this level can stuff the stat box like that and make it count.
Moreover, the ability to routinely impact games in that many ways typically puts a prep player in rarefied air. Considering his demonstrated skill set and tremendous upside, Haynes appears to be well on his way there.
The Redan faithful should find it comforting that Haynes will be around in 2013-14 for an encore. If he can even come close to duplicating his junior campaign, the Raiders’ not-so-distant future looks very bright indeed.
