Nonprofit Executive Director Barbara Duffy said, “The goal of this renovation is to increase revenue and brand awareness. The store will be more spacious, more organized and the check-out process more efficient. The addition of large photos of North Fulton Community Charities programs and participants displayed along the upper walls combined with quotes from program participants will provide all who enter our thrift shop, including shoppers, donors, supporters and the families we support, insight into NFCC’s mission of building self-sufficiency and preventing homelessness and hunger in our community by providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs.”
Thrift Shop Manager Bebe Nicholson said, “This project has energized our staff and volunteers and our regular shoppers are joining in the excitement. We invite everyone to come by and check out our new look.” The thrift shop is open seven days a week to the public looking for great values and surprise bargains. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
