“The expo is a trade show that allows our members an opportunity to showcase their products and services,” said Kendra Plotkin, the chamber’s operations director and the expo’s organizer.
The first year drew around 60 exhibitors and more than 800 attendees, she said.
“The event was revamped in 2007 when we moved it to the Alpharetta Marriott. We have seen this event grow to fill the entire space at the Marriott and this year’s event will feature over 85 exhibitors,” Plotkin said.
“Last year’s event saw over 1,200 attendees and we anticipate at least that this year.”
In addition to walking the show floor, attendees are encouraged to sample food provided by several restaurants and caterers at lunch time.
“We will also enjoy a Business After Hours event on the show floor from 3 to 5 p.m.,” Plotkin said.
The expo’s title sponsor is Verizon Wireless.
This event is open to the public.
Those who pre-register to attend online at www.gnfccexpo.com by March 19 will get in for free. After that date there will be a $20 charge at the door.
